The second one s hows the most time.įrom Microsoft Background Task Host - backgroundTaskHost.exeįrom Microsoft Download/Upload Host - BackgroundTransferHost.exe This is what shows in Task Manager when they are running and when I end task or tasks the computer recovers. Showed the hard drive as sleep or Hibernation in the Linux app I then removed that from the hard drive then put it back into the computer and it booted up OK. I have had that Hibernation set one of my hard drives to it and that computer would not boot up on it till I removed the hard drive then connected to a Linux system and it I never use sleep nor Hibernation on my computers, so your explanation is all BS. I want to know how to turn these items off and not run again. My recommendation is to turn your power to never sleep, leave it on when you go to bed. So much CPU/Power/Battery and your fan will calm down too. If you leave the system on (turn off your sleep mode timer so it stays fully on) for about 12 solid non-use hours (you can't be using it or any programs active), these will finish their "deferred tasks" as the program manager calls them, and stop burning
